Since 1979, Utah has counted on one Salt Lake City firewood yard to do things the right way. Standard Firewood Supply Co. (formerly Standard Wood Supply) supplies seasoned firewood, cooking wood, and bundled firewood to homes, restaurants, and retailers from our yard at 922 S 500 W, Suite F. We’re large enough to handle big orders and small enough that every customer matters.

Our Story
Standard Wood Supply got its start in 1979, supplying firewood for homes and businesses around the Salt Lake Valley. Over more than 45 years, we’ve grown to serve four kinds of customers:
- Homeowners and cabin owners with seasoned firewood by the cord, delivered or picked up
- Mountain homes, ski cabins, and vacation rentals in Park City and the Heber Valley, stocked for winter
- Restaurants, pizzerias, caterers, and pitmasters with oak, hickory, pecan, apple, cherry, and mesquite cooking wood on standing orders
- Grocery stores, convenience stores, and campgrounds with retail-ready firewood bundles and boxes
Today the company is owned by Kelly Turley and operates as Wood Guys Inc, doing business as Standard Firewood Supply Co. Our name has changed a little, but our quality and service have stood the test of time.

Straight answers. Our office will walk you through species, quantities, and pricing so you get the right wood for the job. That goes for first-time fireplace owners and seasoned pitmasters alike.
Respect for your property. Our drivers show up when promised, drop the wood exactly where you want it, and clean up after stacking.
Where to Find Us
Our yard is at 922 S 500 W, Suite F, Salt Lake City, UT 84101, a few minutes from downtown. We’re open Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, for pickup and phone orders, and winter Saturdays are walk-in pickup only (call for hours). We deliver on weekdays across seven Northern Utah counties, including Park City, Heber, and the Cottonwood canyons.
